Foot-Loose!!

Gearing up to Visit San Francisco.

On 9th Nov 2004, I sent the following mail to my friends from REC.

Early to office today. Had a good news to share.

As of now, I'll be flying to Oracle HQ, Redwood Shores, California for a knowledge transfer on a new product. Its for two weeks starting Nov 26th and ending Dec 10th.

The talk was around for a while now, more than a month. But it is now that I feel confident enough to say "Yes, people I'm flying". The reason being, this transfer is exclusively for me. No solid transfer plans have been chalked out and its all in the hands of people out there.

I was trying to sound cool and composed though I was excited to the core, when I wrote the mail above. My first trip abroad. Visting the Head Quarters. My new product and the excitement of making the trip alone.

I don't remember a great deal of what happened during the trip. It has been close to 18 months now since I returned. I am making an attempt to reconstruct the story from the pictures I took.
